Delete your data
Last updated 17 August 2026
You can remove your data from AlphaNovix Social at any time, and most of it you can do yourself in a few clicks. This page covers each level, from disconnecting one social account to removing your account entirely.
Disconnect a social account
This is what to do if you want us to stop having access to a network, but want to keep using AlphaNovix.
- Sign in and open Social Accounts in your workspace.
- Find the account and choose Disconnect.
The access tokens for that account are deleted immediately, and we can no longer read from or publish to it. Any posts still scheduled to it are cancelled, and the dialog tells you how many before you confirm. Posts already published stay on the network — we cannot remove those, and you would delete them there.
You can also revoke our access from the network’s own settings. Both work; doing it here is cleaner because it also cancels the scheduled posts.
Delete a post or an image
Delete a post from the Posts page, and media from the Media library. Deleting media removes the stored file itself, not just the reference to it. Media still attached to a post cannot be deleted until you detach or delete that post — otherwise a published post would be left pointing at an image that no longer exists.
Delete a workspace
Email support@alphanovix.com from the address that owns the workspace and name the workspace you want removed. We complete these within 30 days, usually within a few days, and confirm in writing when it is done.
Deleting a workspace removes everything inside it: its posts, media, connected accounts and their tokens, analytics history and team memberships. It cannot be undone, and only the owner can request it.
Delete your entire account
Email support@alphanovix.com from the address you signed up with, asking us to delete your account. We will confirm and complete it within 30 days, usually within a few days.
What happens when we do:
- Every workspace you solely own is deleted, along with its posts, media, connected accounts and analytics.
- Every social account token we hold for you is destroyed.
- Your profile — name, email, picture — is removed from our records.
- Your authentication record with our sign-in provider is deleted.
Two things are deliberately not deleted, and it is fair that you know before you ask. Workspaces you share with other people are not removed, because they belong to those people too; your membership is removed instead. And entries in a workspace’s activity log are kept but stripped of anything identifying you, so that the workspace owner’s record of what happened in their own account stays intact.
We also keep billing records where tax law requires it. These contain the transaction, not your content.
If you connected through Facebook or Instagram
You can remove our access from Meta’s own settings — Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites — and remove AlphaNovix Social there. Doing so revokes our access at Meta’s end.
That stops future access but does not delete what we already hold. To have that removed too, follow the steps above, or email support@alphanovix.com and say you came from Facebook or Instagram — we will confirm the deletion in writing.
Getting a copy first
Deletion cannot be reversed. If you want a copy of your data before it goes, ask at support@alphanovix.com and we will send you a machine-readable export first.
